Isabel A. Milkovich, GPC, MA, provides government grant proposal strategy and development for services such as climate resilience, affordable housing, workforce development, education, and agriculture. They have raised over $115 Million for public services since 2017. Isabel started IAM Grants Consulting, LLC, in 2022 to help nonprofits and communities thrive through government grant development, program development, and consortium management.

Isabel brings a justice and equity lens to all their work and espouse the ten principles of Community-Centric ​

Fundraising. They strive to center the voices of people of the Global Majority, people identifying as LGBTQ, and people living with disabilities. Isabel lives these DEI values by collaborating with clients to increase the flow of public funding to communities that have been negatively impacted by past or current public policies in order to mitigate the effects of these policies. Isabel identifies as neurodivergent, white, and demigender.

 

Isabel holds the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential from the Grant Professionals Association and a Master’s degree in English from l’Université Grenoble-Alpes in France. They are a mentor with the Grant Professionals Association and a volunteer with the Deschutes Collaborative Forest Project.

Isabel was recently voted onto the City of Bend’s Affordable Housing Advisory Committee. When they’re not working or volunteering, you can find them outside hiking, skiing, kayaking, or gardening, and always practicing Leave No Trace principles.
